Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Contract Administrator based in Saudi Arabia. The Contract Administrator will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering a wide range of commercial and operational contracts, ensuring full compliance with company policies, Saudi commercial and maritime laws, and applicable international standards.
The role requires close coordination with procurement, finance, and operations teams, monitoring contract performance, managing variations and claims, and proactively identifying and mitigating contractual and commercial risks. The Contract Administrator will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless contract execution, protect the company's commercial interests, and support overall business objectives.
The position also involves hands-on familiarity with marine and offshore contracts, including BIMCO standard forms, charter parties, service agreements, and related maritime documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management, including complex commercial agreements
- Working knowledge of BIMCO standard contracts (e.g., charter parties, offshore and maritime service agreements) and marine contracting practices
- Strong familiarity with Saudi commercial law, relevant regulatory frameworks, and contractual compliance requirements
- Solid understanding of maritime and offshore contracting principles, including risk allocation, liabilities, indemnities, and claims management
- Strong analytical skills to review, interpret, and manage detailed contract terms and conditions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external counterparties
- Experience in procurement and supply chain contracting is highly beneficial
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in contract administration, legal, or commercial roles is preferred
- Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail with the ability to perform under tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
