Senior Technicians (National)
Job Description:
Role Purpose The Senior Technician (National) performs and leads skilled maintenance and operations support tasks on onshore production facilities — mechanical, piping, rotating and static equipment — ensuring safe, high-quality execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. As experienced Saudi national tradesmen, Senior Technicians also lead small work crews and coach junior Technicians, directly supporting Front End's Saudization commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment (pumps, valves, exchangers, piping, vessels) per work orders and client procedures.
- Lead small crews of Technicians and Skilled Labors in daily task execution; assign work and verify quality.
- Perform equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis; recommend repair methods and spare parts.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance: isolation support, draining, purging, and handover/handback with operations.
- Comply fully with the Work Permit System, JSAs, and all HSE requirements; conduct pre-task briefings.
- Complete maintenance records, checklists, and CMMS (e.g., SAP) work order feedback accurately.
- Operate light vehicles between facilities and work sites as required.
- Support shutdown/turnaround activities and emergency call-outs.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in any engineering discipline or related field; or High School with minimum five (5) years' experience.
- Valid Saudi driving license (mandatory).
- Saudi national with demonstrated trade competency in oil & gas or industrial plant maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of safe work practices, permit systems, and hand/power tools.
- Basic English for work orders and procedures; fluent Arabic.
