About the Joint Venture
As part of Front End's Autonomy & Mobility portfolio, the active joint venture between Front End and Wiseman is established to build and operate EV charging infrastructure across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Role overview
We are looking for a Business Development & Sales Manager to lead the JV's commercial growth in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the customer pipeline, closing sales of charging hardware and SaaS platform deployments, developing the local channel and partner network, and helping shape the JV's go-to-market strategy in the Kingdom.
This is a foundational role for the JV's KSA operations. The right person will own the market and have meaningful influence over how it's built.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the JV's sales strategy across Saudi Arabia for DC fast chargers, AC chargers, and the SaaS operations platform.
- Build and manage a structured pipeline of B2B and B2G accounts, including fleet operators, real estate developers, fuel retailers, utilities, government entities, and charge point operators.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and contract close.
- Develop and qualify a network of local distributors, EPC contractors, and system integrators to extend the JV's reach.
- Build and maintain relationships with key government and regulatory stakeholders relevant to EV charging deployment in the Kingdom.
- Lead pricing, proposal development, and commercial negotiations in coordination with JV leadership and Wiseman HQ.
- Provide structured weekly and monthly reporting on pipeline, wins, market intelligence, and competitive activity.
- Advise the JV on local market requirements — including SASO certification, payment integrations, Arabic language support, and service and warranty models — to ensure product-market fit.
- Represent the JV at industry events, exhibitions, and customer engagements across the Kingdom.
- Contribute to the long-term commercial roadmap, including team build-out as the business scales.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in EV charging, energy, electrical infrastructure, automotive, or industrial technology.
- Demonstrated track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in Saudi Arabia.
- Established network across one or more of: fleet operators, real estate developers, utilities, government procurement, fuel retail, or major Saudi industrial groups.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi commercial landscape, procurement processes, and regulatory environment.
- Fluent in Arabic and English; comfortable communicating with both local customers and an international HQ.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Saudi national or GCC resident with the legal right to work in the Kingdom.
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally (China HQ visits expected).
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience selling charging infrastructure, energy management systems, or SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with SASO certification processes and Saudi product compliance requirements.
- Existing relationships with key Saudi government entities, utilities, fleet operators, or major industrial groups relevant to EV infrastructure.
- Experience working within a joint venture or with a Chinese technology partner.
