Senior Technicians (Non-National)
Job Description:
Role Purpose The Senior Technician (Non-National) brings specialist trade depth — preferably mechanical — to the maintenance team, executing complex maintenance scopes on production equipment and transferring knowledge to national Technicians as part of Front End's capability-building commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute complex mechanical maintenance: rotating equipment overhaul (pumps, compressors), valve servicing, alignment, and precision fitting.
- Diagnose equipment faults using drawings, P&IDs, and OEM manuals; propose and implement repair solutions.
- Lead critical repair tasks during breakdowns, shutdowns, and turnarounds.
- Mentor national Technicians in trade skills, quality standards, and safe methods (knowledge transfer).
- Comply with the Work Permit System, JSAs, LOTO, and all client HSE requirements.
- Complete work order feedback, inspection reports, and as-left condition records.
- Maintain calibration and care of precision tools and measuring instruments.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Technical Diploma in any engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical.
- Minimum five (5) years of work experience, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical plant maintenance.
- Proven competency in mechanical trades (millwright/fitter/machinist background an advantage).
- Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and Aramco-type site requirements preferred.
- Working English for procedures, drawings, and reporting.
- Medically fit and eligible for Saudi work visa/Iqama.
